Agenda de SWTOR en PAX 2010

Durante los días 3, 4 y 5 de septiembre en Seattle, EEUU, tendrá lugar la Penny Arcade Expo, o PAX.

Star Wars The Old Republic estará presente durante los tres días con una demo jugable para todo aquel que se acerce como hicieran en la Gamescom.

Aparte, el sábado día 4 a las 17:00 hora PDT (02:00 hora penínsular) tendrá lugar la presentación de Star Wars The Old Republic. Podeis seguirla en vivo en este enlace.

• Todas las clases excepto las dos Jedi se pueden jugar a bajo nivel.

• Han escuchado el "feedback" por el nombre de Jedi Wizard. Parece que habrá información al respecto pronto.
• Los companions no van a hacer que los jugadores que los usen sean dioses comparados con los que no los usen, y no será necesario que los jugadores que no quieran usarlos tengan que especializarse necesariamente para compensar la perdida de lo que ofrecen los companion si eligen jugar sin ellos
• La elección de que las clases avanzadas sean permanentes o no está en fase de "en desarrollo" y lo están estudiando.

• Graficos y detalles del medio muy cuidados.
• Las animaciones en combate muy fliudas y la respuesta a las ordenes desde teclado o ratón bastante rápidas.
• El BH muy impresionante y muy divertido.
• Se comenta que el Smugler tiene una habiliad llamada "First Shot" que puede por ejemplo hacer retroceder a un SW que venga saltando hacia él con un disparo en la cara (comentario de Daniel Erikson cuando le preguntan sobre PvP, Smugler contra SW).

  • Confirmado que los Sith Puraraza solo son para el Sith Warrior.
  • Los jugadores que les gustara más el primer KOTOR se sentiran como en casa con la historia del Jedi Knight. Aquellos que prefirieran el KOTOR2 les gustará la historia del Jedi Consul.
  • Para las clases sensitivas, el sabor de las elecciones morales será distinta, pero resumiendo, salvar vidas será mas luminoso, y quitar vidas (via elecciones de conversación) será mas oscuro.
  • Twi'lek avatars Actualmente tienen algunos problemas gráficos con los Jetpacks de los Bounty Hunters, asique hasta que no encuentren la manera de arreglarlo y mantener el aspecto icónico del BH, no veremos Twi'lek como una opción para esa clase.
